US per-minute rate tiers

Your tier is set by your total monthly minutes. Rates are for US dialing.

How the calculator works

Your bill is driven by connected talk time, so the calculator starts there. It multiplies your agent count by the hours you dial each day, the days you dial each month and the minutes each agent spends talking in an average hour. That gives your estimated monthly minutes, which sets your rate tier and your estimated monthly cost.

The talk-minutes setting matters most. Use the figure from your dialer’s agent time reports if you have it; 35 minutes per agent-hour is only a starting point. Need help sizing a trunk for peak dialing? See SIP trunking for call centers, or pair your trunk with DID numbers for caller ID.

What drives your SIP trunk cost

Three things set it: how many agents dial, how many hours they dial and how much of each hour they spend talking. More talk time means more minutes. More minutes can move you into a lower tier.

VoIP pricing for call centers, by tier

We price US minutes in tiers. Your total monthly minutes pick the tier, and that one rate applies to all of your minutes. The tier table above shows each rate. Your quote confirms the final number.

Frequently asked questions

How much does VoIP cost for a call center?
It depends on your monthly minutes. Most of the bill is connected talk time. The calculator multiplies your agents, hours, days and talk minutes, then applies your tier rate. Higher volume can reach a lower tier. Enter your own numbers above for an estimate, then request a quote to confirm it.
How does the calculator estimate my monthly minutes?
It multiplies four numbers: agents, hours dialed per day, days dialed per month and average talk minutes per agent-hour. For example, 20 agents × 8 hours × 22 days × 35 talk minutes = 123,200 minutes a month.
What are talk minutes per agent-hour?
They’re the minutes an agent spends connected on live calls in an average hour, after time spent waiting, wrapping up and on breaks. The calculator starts at 35. Your dialer’s agent time reports show your real figure, so swap it in for a closer estimate.
How is my rate tier chosen?
By your total estimated monthly minutes. The calculator applies that tier’s per-minute rate to all of your minutes. As your volume crosses a tier boundary, your rate steps down.
Is the estimate my final price?
No. It’s an estimate for US dialing based on the numbers you enter. Request a quote and we’ll confirm your pricing for your setup, usually the same day.
Can I use this as a call center phone bill calculator?
Yes, for the minutes part of your bill. It estimates your US outbound talk minutes and what they cost at our tier rates. DID numbers, a hosted dialer and other services aren’t included in this estimate.
